Breathwork

Jeffrey Thogmartin and Jacob Denson Breathwork Session beginning to share at Center for Spiritual Living in Asheville North Carolina

We don’t give the breath nearly enough credit. It is quite literally our bridge back to ourselves, back to our most natural state of being. Through the breath we can release what has been weighing us down, reconnect with who we actually are, and return to the energy of love that has always been there underneath everything else.

Through the breath we heal. We wake up. We remember.

My breathwork sessions are designed to guide you into that place where clarity rises, the heart opens, and something in you finally exhales. Not just your lungs, but all of it.

Each session is held in a two hour container that gives us plenty of room to breathe, literally and figuratively. We start with grounding and instruction, move into a 60 minute guided circular breathing journey, and close with time for integration so you can actually absorb what just happened. With your consent, gentle hands-on energetic support may be offered during the session to deepen the experience.

Breathwork is available in both private and group settings.

What to Expect

A breathwork session isn’t something you rush in and out of. Plan for about two hours, not because the whole time is intense, but because the arrival, the breathing, and the integration after all matter equally. This is a full journey inward and it deserves that kind of space.

We start by slowing down. Before any breathing begins we take time to ground, set an intention, and go over the technique so you feel safe, supported, and clear on what to expect. That foundation matters and we don’t skip it.

From there you’ll be guided into a 60 minute circular breathing experience held together by music, presence, and gentle verbal guidance along the way. As the breath deepens, things start to move. That might look like physical sensation, emotional release, unexpected clarity, or something you don’t quite have words for yet. Every session unfolds differently because every person is different, and your system will take you exactly where it’s ready to go.

With your consent, gentle hands-on energetic support may be offered during the session to help you soften and move through anything that feels stuck. You are always in control and your body always leads.

We close with integration and sharing, quiet time to reflect, come back to yourself, and let what just happened actually land before you walk back out into your day.

This container was designed to honor not just the breathwork itself, but everything that comes after it. That’s where the real ripple begins.
